How to Knit and Felt a Bag (Great Tutorial!)

I know what you mean about sharing your ideas (whether in picture for or words) and worrying about someone copying them. I'm like that with my writing. I get afraid that someone will steal my story idea, and even that they'll do better with it than I would and they end up getting published and I wouldn't.
As for the knitting, I'm not good enough yet to come up with my own patterns - though I did "design" a baby lace sock pattern that I was proud of. It isn't perfect but it was something I made up. I did put it on my blog and shared the pattern though.
Thanks Shelley, I appreciate your thoughts. It's a lot to ponder. I know there is wisdom in not giving away all your secrets, but I am concerned about taking it too far and then retreating into your own private world and subsequently missing out on getting input from other people. In that respect, I think I have indeed taken it a little too far. :-)
Your purse is beautiful. Enjoyed reading your blog too.
Thanks Pennie!
