I'm so excited, I just purchased this walnut yarn swift online from Knitting Notions. Jon (hubby) is buying it for me for our 18th wedding anniversary. It looks like a piece of fine furniture. It is finished with "a blend of tung oil and linseed oil, followed by a topcoat of beeswax". It'll be such a relief to give my shoulders a break from unwinding a skein from around the back of 2 chairs. Now all I need is a ball winder!

Heidi,
All of your new bags on your shop are beautiful!!!!! You have been very busy! Keep up the inspiring work :-)
Yes, I'm a lucky girl! A ball winder for Valentine's Day sounds fine with me!
Thanks Janice for what you said!
You know your husband loves you when he buys you knitting gifts. :) It's beautiful!!! I'm jealous. I have a ball winder, but I currently wined skeins around an old shelf. It's a nightmare and half the time I end up having to untangle a knot. I hinted to my boyfriend the other day that I'd LOVE a swift so we'll see if he picks up on my clue. Have fun!
